Microsoft .NET for Windows XP - download and installation instructions

 

Please note Windows Installer 3.1 and .NET 2 are required before installing the UniPrint on your system.

Note: Appearance of screenshots may differ due to display settings.

Step Description

  • To confirm you have Windows Installer 3.1 installed on your system click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel and double click on Add or Remove Programs

  • Scroll down the list searching for Windows Installer 3.1 or Windows XP Service Pack 3. If either are present, proceed to step 7

Note We recommend using the Save to disk option so that you do not have to download the installation file a second time if you need to reinstall this software, on your computer or another computer in the organisation.

  • Click Next

  • Agree with the License Agreement and click Next

  • Once the installation completes, select Do not restart now then click Finish

  • To confirm you have .NET 2 installed on your system, click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel and double click on Add or Remove Programs

  • Scroll down the list for either Microsoft .NET Framework 2 or Microsoft .NET Framework 2 Service Pack 2. If present, proceed with the installation of UniPrint otherwise continue with step 9

  • Download netfx20SP2_x86.exe (exe 23.84MB) saving to your local computer. Once complete click Open

  • Accept the License Agreement and click Install

    Note that installing may take 20 minutes or longer to complete
