My Landonline workspace is not starting up after log in, what do I do?

If you are using Internet Explorer 7, the auto launch functionality is disabled so you will need to double click the icon to launch the workspace. To enable the auto launch functionality you need to follow the steps below:

  1. https://logon.landonline.govt.nz needs to be a TRUSTED SITE in Internet Explorer 7.
  2. Automatic prompting for file downloads needs to be enabled (the default is disabled).

Adding a trusted site

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Go to TOOLS\INTERNET OPTIONS
  3. Select the SECURITY tab
  4. Highlight TRUSTED SITES and click on the SITES button

  5. Add https://logon.landonline.govt.nz as a trusted website and select CLOSE

Enabling Automatic Prompting for File Downloads

  1. Highlight TRUSTED SITES
    Select CUSTOM LEVEL
  2. Scroll down to DOWNLOADS
    Enable Automatic Prompting for File Downloads, and select OK

  3. Exit out of Internet Options
  4. Close Internet Explorer
  5. Open Internet Explorer and connect to Landonline

What do I do if I am not automatically redirected to the Web Interface?

If you see this message in your browser window, follow the steps below:

  1. Select tools/internet options from the browser and navigate to the advanced tab

  2. Scroll down to the option: Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy access connections and tick the enable box. This will allow the browser to go directly to the page requested without the message.

I am unable to connect to the Citrix server, what do I do?

‘Cannot connect to the Citrix Server: There is no route to the specified subnet address’

If you experience the above error message, this could be because you are using an old version (older than version 9) of ICA client. Connection to the server will continue to fail until the required ICA client 9 has been installed on your computer.

To upgrade the ICA client version, download the Citrix ICA Client version 9.
