Stage 2: Importing your DC into your firm's Web Browser

How to import your DC into your firm's web browser
Purpose
  • This stage of installation downloads your DC
  • The DC will be stored in your firm’s system web browser as well as in your LINZ Certificates folder
Step Description

  • Open Internet Explorer

  • Before the page loads you may see the screen below
  • If the screen appears, click Yes
  • If you do not see this screen, you will automatically be taken to the next screen

  • Select Microsoft Enhanced Cryptographic Provider v1.0 from the CSP drop down list

Alert If you cannot select Microsoft Enhanced Cryptographic Provider v1.0, please call the the Registration Authority Team on 0800 ONLINE (0800 665 463) and select option 4 for immediate assistance.

  • Enter your DC Reference Number
  • Enter your DC Authorisation Code
  • Please note: Your DC Authorisation Code MUST be entered in upper case only and MUST include hyphens. Your DC Authorisation Code and how to obtain your Reference Number are included in the email sent to you by the Registration Authority.

  • Click Submit Request

  • Click Yes

  • You may see the screen below. If the screen appears, click OK

  • Click Yes

  • If you can see the web site screen shown below, you have successfully imported your DC into the web browser

You have now completed importing your DC into your web browser
