External Survey Release Notes for 2.4 Release – 14 June 2004

Release notes for the following subsystems are listed below;

XML Extract and Import

LandXML import Changes

The following changes have been made;

  1. Imported ‘Extinguished’ parcels with valid oIDs will populate the Parcel Details screen with appellation format of ‘General’
  2. Surveyors Mark Numbers will not be overwritten on import. If whole integers are not used the XML file will not import and an error message advising the user of the problem will appear
  3. If a bearing correction is supplied for a survey reference this bearing correction will populate in the Survey Header screen. If there is more than one bearing correction per survey reference then Landonline will not populate any bearing correction for that survey reference.

TPR 5448

Ampersands (&) in free text fields when importing XML files into Landonline

Ampersands in XML files that populate free text fields in Landonline will now successfully import into Landonline.

TPR 5449

Station Names in XML file extracted from Landonline are not populated for all marks

Station Names in XML files extracted from Landonline will import into third party software correctly.

TPR 5524

Ampersands (&) in XML file for Firm Name when extracted from Landonline

Landonline firm names with ampersands (&) extracted as XML files from Landonline will import into third party software correctly.

TPR 5543

Erroneous curve data in XML file extracted from Landonline

XML files when extracted from Landonline will not have erroneous incomplete curve data information for parcel boundary lines that are right lines. They will import into third party software correctly.

Capture

TPR 4872 Spatial searching within Capture by Parcel causes Landonline to close Users can now search spatially by parcel if no Marks or Observations have been entered in the survey.
TPR 5431 Violation of Mandatory Field Constraint error message when opening Plan Generation Users can now capture data in combination of Traverse and Secondary Layers. This combination of layers would be used for Easement surveys where the user wants to show the all observations in the Survey Diagrams on the Survey Sheets in Plan Generation.
TPR 5034 Message 2 ‘No password entered’ error message

Message 2 No Password entered error message will not occur in the Traverse Boundary Capture screen when adding or inserting observations if a geodetic mark has been spatially adopted.

To create a balance Run parcel check ‘Part’, and select Run as the Plan/Registration Type and the Run Number as the Plan/Registration Number. Y003 Rule will not fail for this parcel.

Plan Generation

Unable to open document in Layout Plan Sheets screen due to Incorrect Page numbering

Incorrect page numbering that caused this error message will no longer occur.

TPR 5452

User added text and lines not moving with the diagrams

In Plan Generation Layout Plan Sheets screen if a blank page occurs the user added text and lines on the following pages are moved forward together with the diagrams so the diagrams and user added information remain in sync when the blank page is removed automatically by Landonline.

TPR 5465

Diagrams in Layout Plan Sheets screen moving randomly

Diagrams that are laid out near the edge of the border in the Layout Plan Sheets screen will remain where they are placed and not move randomly.

TPR 5470

Plan Generation Spatial Window not displaying mark symbol for bearing only or distance only observations

The mark symbol for the marks at the end of the distance only or bearing only observation will show in the Plan Generation Spatial Window


TA Certification
