Landonline Release 3.2 update for all Landonline customers
Release 3.2 will implement a new system for the creation and delivery of Landonline notices.
Notices
Landonline sends notices to customers for a variety of reasons. Notices may be due to a statutory requirement such as a caveat notice, or to advise a changed transaction status such as the approval of a cadastral survey dataset These can be automatically generated by Landonline or created by a LINZ internal user. You and your firm can receive these notices by email, online message, post or courier. The method by which you and your firm receive each notice depends on the type of notice and the notice delivery preferences you set for each.
Some notices must be delivered to you and/or your firm as they are required by statute or for evidence. For details of these mandatory notices and the method by which they are dispatched, see Mandatory notice types. Non mandatory notices are not required to be sent, so you and your firm can control whether to receive them.
You can search for notices in Landonline and from the search results:
- view details of a notice for each recipient and (if required) print or save it to a file
- view attachments to a notice
- print notices
- save a list of notice search results to a file
- view the history of a notice.
You can also maintain the notice preferences for each type of notice to:
- set notice delivery preferences for a firm (System Manager only)
- set your individual notice delivery preferences, including those for other firms you are associated with
- update your contact details.
