MAR 169 - Automatically Notify the Territorial Authority and remove job from Workspace when a survey is Deleted or Withdrawn.
| MAR 169 Description | Automatically Notify the Territorial Authority and remove job from Workspace when a survey is Deleted or Withdrawn. |
|---|---|
| MAR 169 Explanation | If a surveyor elects to Delete or Withdraw a survey and the Territorial Authorities have been notified of Certification requirements, the TA will inevitably proceed with Certification if the Surveyor takes no action to advise them. Currently a survey is prevented from being Deleted or Withdrawn if a Territorial Authority has been Notified. This requires a script fix by LINZ to disassociate the TA to allow Delete or Withdraw to proceed. This enhancement will ensure that when a survey is Deleted or Withdrawn any associated Territorial Authority job, In Progress or Complete, will be deleted from TA Workspace. Upon successful withdrawal of a survey where its TA job has been assigned to a specific TA user (plans under the "My Work" leaf of the TA user's tree view), an Online Message will appear under the "My Messages" leaf of that user's Tree View where action is either "Withdrawn" or "Deleted".
For surveys withdrawn or Deleted and the TA is not assigned to a specific TA user (plans under the "Unassigned Work" leaf of the TA user's tree view), no Online Message to the TA is generated. The job is simply removed from the Unassigned queue. The Message advising that the Survey requires Certification remains in the TA user My Messages folder. A search for the job will indicate that the record cannot be found.
Workspace (functionality behind the Delete/Withdraw button of Manage Survey Transaction window)
When deleting a survey ( i.e. the survey has never been submitted) but the Surveyor has specified and notified a Territorial Authority, a warning message (29145 - "The TA <TA firm> has been notified that TA certification is required. Do you want to proceed to delete the Dataset?") with Options of "Yes" or "No" is presented to the user. Selecting "Yes" will delete the dataset and display a confirmation message that it has been deleted. When deleting a survey where a warning message (29003 - "This survey will be deleted. Do you wish to continue?") with Options of "Yes" or "No" is presented to the user. Selecting "Yes" will delete the dataset and display a confirmation message that it has been deleted. When withdrawing a survey (plan has already been submitted at least once) and the TA has been specified and notified, a warning message (29144 - "The TA <TA firm> has been notified that TA certification is required. Do you want to proceed to withdraw the Dataset?") with Options of "Yes" or "No" is presented to the user. Selecting "Yes" will raise a request to withdraw the dataset and display a confirmation message that the request has been raised. When withdrawing a survey where a warning message (29002 - "This survey will be withdrawn from Landonline. Do you wish to continue?") with Options of "Yes" or "No" is presented to the user. Selecting "Yes" will raise a request to withdraw the dataset and display a confirmation message that the request has been raised. Refer to the previous email regarding processing of withdrawal requests. |
MAR 1156 - Change the Extract option to default to 'Now' in CSL_S01 screen
| MAR 1156 Description | Change the Extract option to default to 'Now' in CSL_S01 screen |
|---|---|
| MAR 1156 Explanation |
This enhancement has been included in consideration of the possibility that the e-mail option may be removed. The e-mail option creates an extra step in providing the information extracted that could otherwise be eliminated. The Option 'Now' is very quick to provide a result and prompts the user to save to the C:/ drive. The option of Online Messaging remains preferable if the extract is large but even then the extract is provided relatively quickly. The alternative options Online Messaging and e-mail remain available.

|---|---|
| TPR 6505 Explanation |
This rule has been added to ensure that all Cadastral Survey Datasets Lodged with LINZ have a Survey Report attached. Whilst the Surveyor General's Rules do not require a report for Survey Purpose 'Record Purposes', Landonline processing does. If a Survey Report is not attached as a Supporting Document, Submit will fail.
