Known Issues

With the release of 2.8, we are aware of some minor issues that require workarounds (an interim process you can use to bypass an issue). These issues will be rectified in a future upgrade as part of our ongoing improvements and maintenance programme.

Depending on how you use Landonline, you may not even be aware of them, however, we have developed some workarounds should you encounter any.

These are detailed below.

TPR 6433 - Layout Sheets

Description Workaround Instructions

TPR 6433 - Layout Sheets

When adding User Defined Diagrams to the layout sheets it has been found that the lines and the text associated to the lines are distorting away from their 'Original Location'.

This also occurs on lines that have been truncated (User Defined Survey Diagrams). In this instance the bearings and distances are distorting on the truncated line.

  • For Lines: Select the 'Co-ordinate' button then select the Mark (or point) at the end of the line, right click the mouse and select 'Original Location' – this will move the Mark, Line and Label associated to the Mark at the same time.
  • For Text: Select the 'Label' button, select the Text, right click the mouse and select 'Original Location'.

TPR 6175 - Plan Generation, Layout Sheets will not open due to two error messages: SQLDB Code:0 SQLSTATE S1000 followed by 32029 Line and Character position 0

Description Workaround Instructions

TPR 6175 - Plan Generation, Layout Sheets will not open due to two error messages: SQLDB Code:0 SQLSTATE S1000 followed by 32029 Line and Character position 0

When centreline parcels (Secondary & Tertiary centrelines) are extinguished at capture, opening the Layout window will cause a spatial data blade error.

Delete the extinguished centreline parcels from the Parcel List at capture.

A note needs to be added to the survey report, to inform LINZ staff to ensure that the centreline parcels (give parcel appellations and parcel ids) are made 'historic' after the Deposit of the plan.

TPR 6438 Workspace (My Messages) images not saving as .tif files

Description Workaround Instructions

TPR 6438 - Issue found when saving images in 'My Messages' using the 'Save As' button.

Instead of the image being saved as a .tif file it is being saved as a .temp file.

In 'My Messages'
  1. Select the image to save
  2. Select the 'Save As' button and type in the file name followed by ".tif" extension

TPR 6343 – Arc Observations – printing the Travers/Bdy Capture Observation List shows differences in the 'To' and 'From' mark references

Description Workaround Instructions
TPR 6343 – The printed version of the Traverse/Bdy Capture Observation List doesn't match what has been actually captured (this affects the Arc 'To' and 'From' mark references for Arc observations only)

View the Traverse/Bdy Capture Observation List at capture to verify if necessary.

Landonline still recognises the correct ‘To' and ‘From' mark references at capture.
