TPR 9976: Attaching images in the correct file format

Description:

Currently there is an issue with attaching images of the Group 3 Fax compression where Reverse Bit Order is applied (see screenshot 1 below). This results in an image being attached to an instrument but it is not viewable in Preview Instrument or at Certify and Sign. To ensure the images attached are in the correct format please ensure they are of the CCITT Group 4 Fax compression file format (see screenshot 2 below).

Action:

When attaching images to an e-dealing the attached image(s) should always be viewable in Preview Instrument and at Certify and Sign. If the images are not viewable then please ensure they are of the correct file format (see Landonline scanning requirements). If the images are in the correct file format, contact LINZ for further assistance. Continuing to submit the instrument without the attached images will result in the e-dealing being returned to have the images attached. If you can not see all the pages in Landonline before you submit, LINZ will not be able to see them either.

9947 9005 Error when Printing SRS Title for Unit Titles Printing an SRS Title for Unit Titles from the Searches Tree results in a 9005 error and application crash. Search and print any associated Unit Title and choose to print "with Diagram" which will include the SRS or they can use the Request Product List to obtain a copy. The user may also view the SRS (but not print).
 
8962 Message 28275 displays in Create Dealing screen when a CP is entered in the instrument roles field for more than one firm Instruments can have more than one CP allocated in the Role field -eg where the transferors are separately represented. However a solicitor who is linked to multiple firms cannot be added more than once to a role. The system should recognise the association to different firms and allow entry. Information only
 
9214 Printing a dealing from the Workspace screen does not include any images attached to the instrument If there are images attached to your instrument they will not display if you print from the Workspace screen. It is necessary to select the individual instrument and print it.
 
9111 When prior transfers have made ownership the same the transfer won't open in ALL of Titles mode If an e-dealing contains multiple transfers where it acts to bring the owners of a title(s) into common ownership, any subsequent transfers in the dealing defaults to open in Share mode. Users can change to All mode if they wish
 
9841 Slow response times for refresh of Workspace due to large number of messages If there are too many messages in your My Messages folder then the response time when refreshing Workspace may take longer than expected. Information only (clear out your My Messages folder)
 
9548 Status of an instrument changes from Part Signed to Draft when CP role changed When an instrument is partially or fully signed and the CP details are changed, the status of the instrument displays as Part Signed. Should all signatures be cleared, the instrument status does not update to Draft until the dealing is closed and reopened. Information only
 
9648 Prepare Mortgage screen opening in the incorrect mode when bringing titles into common ownership If the mortgage opens in Share mode you are able to change this to ALL mode. The mode can be changed to ALL mode and processed
 
9769 Prepare Transfer and Mortgage screens are case sensitive If the same name appears multiple times on a title (or titles), check spelling and capitalisation. Ensure consistent entry of names to avoid this behaviour
 
9835 Error Message 17542 displaying for Transfer (of mtge using LMO mode) when AIN is duplicated (i.e. instruments in different Registries using same reference) An error message occurs when trying to transact against an existing instrument for which there is more than 1 instrument with the same number (ie pre Conversion instruments). In these instances a call will need to be raised and assigned through to the LINZ Business Analysts for correction. This will be fixed in 3.1 release.
 
9860 Message 28291 not displaying for Transfer of Leases in LMO mode with different lessees/encumbrances Conveyancers are not provided with a warning message when saving a Transfer of Lease where the lessees are not the same on all titles. The instrument does fail Prevalidation but a warning should be given in the process. Information only
 
9861 Share Value not displaying in Display Resulting Encumbrancee for TM For a Transfer of Mortgage the 'Display Resulting Ownership' field is not displaying share details of the transferees. The Preview Instrument screen and the DSTV can be used to view the correct shareholding.
 
9910 The word Mortgage needs to be replaced by Mortgagor in Message 28268 Msg 28268 will display in the Prepare Mortgage screen if the Mortgagor shares do not equal 1. There is a slight error in the wording in that it refers to "mortgage shares" where it should refer to the "mortgagor shares". Information only
 
217 Mortgage Memorials

Memorials created by mortgages auto reged from e-dealing now appear in the following approved format:

Mortgage of an interest: 123456.1 Mortgage of Joe Brown to BNZ d&t

Mortgage of a share: 123456.1 Mortgage of Joe Brown as to a half share to BNZ. d&t

Mortgage of a share where there are multiple shares on the title: 123456.1 Mortgage of Joe Brown as to that party's interest in the 1/2 share of Joe Brown, Sue Smith and Bill Boyd and Joe Brown as to that party's interest

191 Mortgage Memorials If a memorial that stops registration exists and the solicitor cannot certify for the instrument then the instrument can still be submitted to LINZ as it will step down to Lodge. The instruments for which certification can be made are - Caveat, Notice of Claim, Statutory Land Charge, Tax Charge, Charging Order/Rating Order and Irrigation Notice under Public Works Act 1981.
