Sole surveyors and survey firms that do not wish to purchase an e-survey licence on their own account, can still lodge e-surveys by arrangement with an e-survey license holder.
In effect, the e-survey licenced firm acts as a bureau, providing e-survey services to a non e-survey licenced surveyor or survey firm.
Requirements for providing and using e-survey bureau services
- The e-survey bureau service provider must hold a current e-survey licence.
- The service user must hold a current Digital Certificate associated with the bureau service provider.
- A surveyor requires a current Digital Certificate in order to certify and digitally sign his / her own survey.
