Seeking clarification or review of a survey requisition

If your Cadastral Survey Dataset (CSD) has been requisitioned by LINZ and you would like further clarification of a requisition or a requisition review, please follow the applicable processes set out below.

For clarification of a survey requisition

If you disagree with a requistion or are unsure what is required, please submit a Survey Requistion Clarification request in Landonline or contact LINZ on 0800 ONLINE (0800 665 463) and provide the CSD number. An Approver will call you back. A clarification is a faster process than a Requistion Review

For a review of a survey requisition

If you disagree with any requisitions after undertaking the requisition clarification process, please use the pre or post approval review process. 

Once a request is received, LINZ will investigate and communicate the outcome of the review to you.

Pre Approval

This process allows surveyors to request a requisition review before completing any requisition items. It should only be undertaken after a requistion clarification has been sought. Before the CSD has been returned to LINZ, please complete a Review of Survey Requisition form (doc 46KB) and attach it to Landonline request type Survey_Requisition Review.

Post Approval

This process allows surveyors to request a requisition review after completing all requisition items and resubmitting the CSD, without delaying approval of their dataset.

After all the requisition items have been complied with, please complete a Review of Survey Requisition form (doc 46KB) and email it to customersupport@linz.govt.nz with "Review of Survey Requisition" in the subject line.
