e-dealing Training
In 2008, conveyancing professionals will be invited to attend training presentations or workshops for the remaining two releases.
We've been asked by firms who should attend the presentation and who should attend the workshops. It's a well known fact that people learn differently.
LINZ understands these differences in learning styles and for this reason we have developed both a presentation and a workshop for Releases 3.0 and 3.1 road shows.
The presentation will look at the new functionality from a strategic point-of-view and is targeted toward a conveyancing partner.
The workshops are practical with customers sitting at laptops, being taken through the new functionality, using the e-dealing Practice Tool. This is targeted at those who prepare the e-dealing, generally this person is your firm's Legal Executive.
As there are limited spaces we will be inviting two representatives from each firm to attend at least one presentation or workshop.
We continue to offer face to face training on a cost recovery basis to those firms wishing to be trained by one of our highly experienced e-dealing trainers.
The offer of free training ran for a period of two years and during that time thousands of people nationwide were trained in the use of the e-dealing system.
We appreciate staff often come and go and that further training may be required within a firm. We have an established range of online training materials such as the e-dealing Practice Tool and Wizards available. In addition, face to face training is offered on a cost recovery basis. This cost covers our trainer's time, travel, accommodation costs and a basic administration charge.
All in-person training must be booked in advance.
Before training can be confirmed, firms must be signed up to Landonline, have purchased the appropriate number of e-dealing licences and each user must be fully enabled (e.g. have downloaded software to use Landonline and have their Digital Certificate issued and downloaded).
To book e-dealing training, please phone Customer Support on 0800 665 463, or alternatively email customersupport@linz.govt.nz. Make sure you include your full name, title, firm name, mailing and physical address and contact telephone number, and we will respond directly.
