e-dealing Practice Tool (current as at Release 3.1)

This e-dealing Practice Tool aims to help you gain familiarity and confidence with e-dealing instruments before working in Landonline.

You can use the tool to train new staff, refresh your knowledge or practise difficult e-dealing areas.

The tool is designed to enable you to step in and out of modules covering each stage of a transaction...

  • create e-dealing
  • prepare instruments
  • certify and sign instruments
  • settle and release
  • submit e-dealing.

The Prepare Instrument module has a number of topics covering the preparation of discharges, transfers and mortgages.

The e-dealing Practice Tool is current as at Release 3.1. For Release 3.2, the practice tool only requires minor changes to the Create Dealing screen and the additon of two new icons in Workspace (for Requests and Notices). Therefore the practice tool will not be updated until a later date when more changes are required.

'Walkthrough' or 'Practice' options

If e-dealing is completely new to you then we suggest you use the 'walkthrough' option to provide a step by step overview of how e-dealing works. The more interactive 'practise' option encourages you to use the information you've already learnt to complete the simple step by step process in the safety of the learning environment.
