LINZ and the New Zealand Law Society (NZLS) have worked together to develop Workflow Guidance documentation which outlines the e-dealing process as it relates to conveyancing. The documentation highlights the key workflow changes that e-dealing users may need to make in their practices, to maximise the benefits of using e-dealing.
e-dealing does NOT represent the entire conveyancing process. e-dealing relates to steps 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 of the NZLS Workflow Guidance. Note that Step 7 (Arrange Settlement) of the NZLS Workflow Guidance is outside the e-dealing process. The e-dealing Roadmap shows how e-dealing relates to typical conveyancing process steps.
NZLS Workflow Guidance and Checklists is available from the NZLS website.
Executing the A&I form is Step 3 in the NZLS Workflow Guidance.
NZLS e-dealing Guidelines are available from the Property Law Section website.
You can also download A&I forms in Word or rich text formats from the NZLS website.
