Sign-up Checklist

Before you begin to Sign-up we recommend you read this checklist and take the steps it outlines. This will ensure that you complete the online sign-up process speedily.

  • Have you confirmed who your firm’s Trusted Contact will be and gathered that person’s personal details including date of birth, phone numbers, and email address?

  • Have you confirmed who your firm’s System Manager will be and collected their details including date of birth, phone numbers, and email address?

  • Have you confirmed who your firm’s Management Contact will be and collected their details including date of birth, phone numbers, and email address?

  • Have you confirmed who your firm’s Billing Contact will be and collected their details including date of birth, phone numbers, and email address?

  • Have you collected the full legal names of everyone in your firm who will be able to use your Landonline licence including date of birth, phone numbers, and email address?

  • Have you made sure that everyone in your firm who will be a Landonline user is able to supply a current, photographic Proof of Identity (POI)? Valid forms of POI are: a passport, driver’s licence, or firearms licence. The names you supply for any users in your firm must be the same as those on their POI. It is strongly recommended anyone providing a POI chooses the one with the longest period available until expiry. This is important because, whenever a user’s supplied POI reaches its expiry date, he or she will be required to resubmit POI in order to continue using Landonline.

  • Are any of the people who will be using Landonline in your firm current or previous users? Such users may be people who have come to your firm from another firm where they were Landonline users or they may be previous users from your firm who (for example) have been on parental leave. The new user set up charge will not apply to these users.

  • If any of your users are current or previous users, have you checked with them to see if they have a current Digital Certificate? Digital Certificates are personal to the user and may be moved by them to another firm when they change employment.

  • Do you know what computer operating system your firm is using? If you have not checked this we recommend you read Technical info and requirements. This includes the basic system requirements necessary for using Landonline as well as links to more detailed technical information which we recommend your IT Support person reads.

  • If you are paying for your licence or licences by credit card, have your credit card details ready for billing at the end of the sign-up process.

If you have these steps in place you are ready to proceed to Sign-Up. First you will be asked to read and agree to the Landonline Digital Certificate User Obligations and the Landonline Terms and Conditions. Following this you will be taken to the online sign-up forms.

Instructions for downloading the software you will need to be able to use your Landonline licence, are available in this section of the website and may be accessed at any time.
