C2.2.4 Add Image to Instrument

You can attach a file in a PDF or TIF format to your instrument.
When you select a PDF file, Landonline converts it to a TIF format before attaching it to your instrument. You should check the content of a PDF file once attached to ensure the information contained in it is correct.
To attach an image to your instrument:
- Click
in the Prepare screen to open the Attach Image screen. - Click
to display the Select File screen. - Go to the folder on your computer where you saved the file.
- Select the file, then click
- You can also double click on the file to open.

to save the file to the instrument.
Note: For an Image Only Instrument follow the steps highlighted.
The paper clip icon will appear next to
indicating that your file has been attached.
You can attach up to three images to any one instrument.
There is no need to convert a PDF file before attaching it to your instrument.
To attach an image to your instrument: you must ensure it is in an acceptable format. This can be done using the Print-to-TIF driver.
To convert your image into TIF format:
- Open the electronic file you wish to convert.
- Select File | Print and select 'Landonline' as your printer.
- Select where you wish to save the file on your computer and rename it.
