TOPOLOGY
Topology describes how points, lines and polygons are connected to each
other. It is not really concerned with shapes or geometry (Refer Topology
vs Geometry). The two shapes below have the same topology, having
four points joined by four lines to form a polygon.
Parcel topology describes how boundary nodes (points) and
lines are connected to form parcels (polygons).

Observation connectivity describes how observations (including boundary
dimensions) also connect points with lines.
