SURVEY CONVERSION

Survey Header - Basic Details

Surveys from which data has been converted by Survey Conversion will have a few basic details recorded, mainly as that information has been transferred to the actual data captured.

These details are:

• the date of the survey.
  This is usually recorded to the first of the month, as the exact day has not usually been shown on survey plans.
• the coordinate system of the survey.
  For example Mt Pleasant Old Cadastral. While the coordinates of the survey (and in that respect the coordinate system) are not used in Landonline, this information is also applied to the observations on that survey.

No other survey header information, such as the name of the surveyor, has been converted for these surveys.
