SURVEY CONVERSIONSurvey Conversion Areas (SCA)As the cost of converting all of the parcels in the country would have been prohibitive. Consequently urban and peri-urban areas were selected for conversion, although some intensive rural areas have been included. The area coverage of the Survey Conversion Areas is relatively small, probably less than 5% of the land area. However this will include approximately 70% of the nation's parcels will be covered, while it is expected the vast majority of future surveys will occur within these areas. In total some 1.3 million parcels will be captured from 300,000 surveys.
This will involve the capture of some 13 million observations and the
adjustment of five million nodes. Project |
