STRATA

Landonline is presented in two dimensions and a principal topology rule dictates Primary parcels cannot overlap one another in the Primary layers. Where Strata parcels are the Parcel Intent of an e-survey, they must be stored in a unique spatial layer. Only the parcels depicting the ground level footprint are associated by spatial representation to the Primary and Secondary layers. Strata parcels are defined within their own layers as Parcels-Prv-Strata, Parcels-Appr-Strata, Parcels-Cur-Strata. Tunnels, Overpasses and Airspace Strata surveys must show the ground level as Primary Parcels. Subterranean or airspace parcels are captured as Strata Parcels. Where Strata subdivisions are used for buildings and one parcel is defined on more than one level the following premise should be used. When complex Strata subdivisions are to be captured, show the ground level as Primary Parcels and capture all remaining strata parcels as Aspatial only. In simple two level subdivisions where no parcel covers more than one level, show the ground level as Primary Parcels and the upper level as Strata parcels. In all cases the appellation of each parcel should be captured as a whole parcel. Only capture the spatial strata parcel area if the entire strata parcel is defined at only one level. Refer Topology.
