NZGD2000 - GEODETIC CONTROL

In August 1998 LINZ implemented a new geocentric datum, New Zealand Geodetic Datum 2000 (NZGD2000). For further details on the form of the new datum refer to New Zealand Geodetic Datum 2000 fact sheet available on the LINZ website.

All spatial data in Landonline is held in terms of NZGD2000 geographic (latitude and longitude) coordinates.
