EXPORT/IMPORT

Landonline enhances the search functionality currently available and adds the ability to extract spatial data. With the introduction of Landonline Stage Two, access to searching will be from Workspace. Billing for searching and lodgement actions are all invoiced to the same account.

Landonline introduces the option to save defaults for different search screens. Each user will be able to define a default Land District and save field defaults for the textual search screens. Additionally, each user can save a default theme for the Spatial Window. Once a customised layer list is established and saved, each subsequent time the Spatial Window is opened the theme loads your required layers.

Spatial data that can be extracted from Landonline includes:

  • observations captured during survey conversion
  • observations from surveys captured in Landonline
  • geodetic marks including coordinates
  • cadastral marks including coordinates
  • parcels and their attributes.

Extracts can be made by selecting an area of interest or by individual survey references. The format for the extract file is LandXML, an open standard data exchange format designed specifically for use by surveyors, engineers and GIS users. Use the Manage Survey Transaction screen to import LandXML data.

If a LandXML file is imported into an e-survey with existing structured data, it deletes the existing data. Refer LandXML Data Exchange Format.
