SURVEY DEFINITIONS
Work-In-Progress [WIP]
- A Work In Progress [WIP] survey is a survey that was not completed
at the time the DCDB was frozen in each land district. These include
unapproved plans and unlodged plans with pre-allocated plan numbers,
including:
LT plans that were not deposited including approved plans.
- SO Legalisation plans that were not fully gazetted, including approved
plans.
- Other SO plans that were not approved.
- ML plans that were not certified by a Judge of the Maori Land Court
including approved plans.
- Staged Unit Plans that have not completed all stages, including plans
where the final stage has been approved but not deposited.
WIP also includes any surveys that were completed (eg: deposited) during
the period between the freezing of the DCDB for DCDB Conversion and the
rollout of Landonline.
WIP surveys are progressively captured into Landonline
as required. For example, when an action that depends on the survey is
lodged or received (eg: a new title transaction).
WIP plans are captured according to the capture standards in place at
the time.
Unlike other surveys captured directly into Landonline,
WIP surveys retain their original survey number rather than being allocated
a number of 300,000 or greater.
