Primary Boundary Data

An interim capture option in Otago, Southland and Canterbury for some paper surveys lodged into Landonline (including Work in Progress surveys) was to capture only boundary dimensions for primary parcels. This meant not capturing traverses or dimensions of non-primary parcels. In some isolated cases, a few traverse lines were captured in order to hold different parts of a survey together.

The data available for Primary Boundary Data surveys is:

• A set of plan images
  
• Full details for the survey header captured from the plan panels
  
• A plan reference label in the Spatial Window
  
• Links to any live parcels associated with the survey
  
• Full details about all parcels such as parcel intent (eg: fee simple, road, hydro) and parcel actions (eg: created, extinguished)
  
• Details for all marks on primary boundaries
  
• Boundary dimensions of all primary parcels; and
  
• Survey-accurate Digital Cadastre [SDC] coordinates where standards have been met.
