Paper Requirements

The physical properties of paper documents, forms and the forms of registrable memorandum are all dealt with in the Land Transfer Regulations 2002. Regulations 7 - 9 cover those matters. Regulation 6 details who must sign which particular paper instruments. Details of how paper instruments must be executed are given in regulation 16. New forms have been specified in the regulations.
