Reducing requisitions under the 2010 Rules

LINZ is investigating frequent requisitions, and providing feedback to surveyors to help reduce the number of requisitions.

Survey report template updated

The survey report template has been updated to assist with complying with reporting requirements under the 2010 Rules.

Surveyors can modify the template, or create their own, to suit individual requirements and systems. We recommend using a similar order and headings to the LINZ template to ensure consistency.

Offline Plan Generation pilot

The Offline Plan Generation (OPG) pilot has been underway for two weeks and is being extended to 6 August 2010.

If you would like to take part in the pilot, please email pilotgroup@linz.govt.nz to receive a pilot package.

To take part in the pilot, you will need a current Landonline user id and digital certificate. You will need to download the OPG application, and we will ask you to comment on any issues or faults that you experience during the beta testing.

We can also provide you with a test dataset if required.

Geodetic update

Geodetic Update is an e-newsletter published biannually on the LINZ website to inform customers about various geodetic projects and activities.
