CSDs lodged between now and 24 May
Further to the email that went out to surveyors on Friday 23 April, we would like to clarify that:
- All the CSDs in your Workspace do not have to be lodged by 30 April.
- The date of 30 April is to help surveyors avoid the risk of not getting their CSD in terms of the 2002/2 Rules approved before the go-live date if it is requisitioned and has to be re-lodged. This allows 15 working days before the 2010 Rules go-live on 24 May. LINZ will make every effort to process it to approval as quickly as possible.
What will happen to CSDs lodged between 30 April and 24 May?
You can lodge CSDs in terms of the 2002/2 Rules after 30 April until 21 May. However, there is a risk that if the CSD is requisitioned and is unable to be relodged until after the go-live date, it will need to comply with the 2010 Rules.
Please refer to item b of the Transition fact sheet, which clarifies what will happen to CSDs initially lodged before the go-live day.
