New TA e-certification tips and hints
To help Territorial Authorities (TAs) find the information they need, we have set up a new TA e-certification tips and hints section on this website. It contains links to previously published topics and will be updated continually as new items are raised.
As a result of customer feedback, the following tip and hint published in last month's Landwrap has been revised.
Consent Notice (CONO) vs Sec 224 (c) CN Certificate
The Consent Notice (CONO) and 224(c) CN certificates should not be confused in Landonline.
It is a requirement of the Resource Management Act that the CONO must be registered against the title. Therefore, regardless of the facility to attach supporting documents in Landonline e-survey, the CONO is still required to be lodged for registration as part of the title dealing. The conveyancer can either lodge the original consent notice as part of a manual dealing or lodge an image of it as part of an e-dealing.
The 224(c) CN certificate however, is available as an online template for TAs and surveyors to use. It can be signed digitally and may be duplicated within a Certification package if a TA user requires this.
